Dispersant EBS

Basic characteristics

This product has another name which is called ethylene bis-stear-amide. The compound is a yellow tiny pellet in the form of its industrial product with non-toxicity and no side effect to human body. On the condition of  normal temperature,it does not dissolve in major solvents,such as it is stable to acid and alkali and aqueous medium.But it can dissolve in the solvents of hot chlorinated hydrocarbon and arene hydrocarbon.

Application scope

EBS, as a lubricant, has good lubricity, demoulding, luster, in the process of molding polishes and casting molding, when it is jointed into many thermoplastic and thermosetting plastics; In the process of the calendering, extrusion and molding etc it . can accelerate to melt, lower viscosity, save energy, increase toughness, lengthen the life of mold and entrust the product with good appearance.It is mainly used in  polyvinyl-chloride, polyethylene,  polypropylene,  polystyrene,ABS resin, also phenol aldehyde and  amino-plastic, and as  release agent,  anti-stick agent,  antistatic agent and surface treatment agent in  plastic and rubber industry. In addition,  as  pigment dispersing agent  in plastic color batchs,  melting point rising agent for cooking oil product,  lubricant and anticorrosive agent in metal wiredrawing, seals material for electrical parts, defoamer in  paper industry and  paper coating ingredient and so on.

American FDA authorizes EBS to be used in plastic products contacted food. In plastic processing, the  common dosage of EBS is 0.5-2.0%.

Package and storage

The product is packaged in double layer bag which is made polypropylene knitted bag outside and  polyethylene lining bag inside.The weight of 25kg/bag is convinient  to  storing and transportation.
